Hey, I need a little help as to where to place some of my runes/insignias. So far for runes I got +1 axe mastery on the head, +1 Strenght in the gloves, and +41 health(vigor) on the boots. So far does this look good? The insignia's I plan to use Sentinel's, Brawler's, and or Survivor. I remember reading somewhere that placement matters. Where exactly do I place my insignia's? Where do you place your Rune's and Insignia's on your warriors?

Rune placement doesnt really matter to be honest. Me personally i usually put my main weapon rune on my headpiece (along with the inherit bonus from the headpiece), a rune of superior absorbtion on my chest (as this is the area most frequnetly hit). Strength i put onto my legs (no reason really), vigor on my gloves and a rune which reduces blindness duration on my boots.

As for insignia's i stonefist on either gloves of boots, and the rest of my armour i use sentinels. (The reason i put the stonefist on the gloves or boots is because they are less frequently hit by attacks, so your less vunerable to elemental damage).

Absorption is global; it doesn't matter that your chest gets hit more often.

@OP - It doesn't matter where you put runes/insignia. There is a difference in how often each piece gets hit though and that does make a difference. For example, since stonefist doesn't provide any health/energy/armor boost it should be on one of the three pieces hit least (gauntlets/helmet/boots). It also helps to put the weapon rune on the corresponding helmet for easy weapon swaps.

Heres how I do mine:

Helmet: Stonefist + Minor Weapon
Chest: Sentinel/Survivor/Brawler + Minor Strength
Gloves: Sentinel/Survivor/Brawler + Superior Vigor
Leggings: Sentinel/Survivor/Brawler + Minor Tactics (vigor would be better though)
Boots: Sentinel/Survivor/Brawler + Superior Absorption

EDIT: Yes. Unless the armor boost specifies either physical or elemental, it applies to both (and any other armor affected damage).

Ahhhh, i see i see. Thanks for clearing things up. Also do I really need a stonefist if i dont do KD's? Im running a WE build btw.

Depends if you ever plan to use a KD skill or not with your current equipment. The bar you are using today might not be the bar you are using tomorrow.

If you intend to use KDing please include a stonefist insigna. Other replies on this thread fully replies your questions.^^ Happy killing.

Brawlers and sentry's insigna give a +10 ar boost if conditions are meet. +10 ar that is universal it covers both phy and ele damage, it should cover the other non ar ignoring damage sources too. For exp. dark damage and chaos damage (need more info on this 1 though).
